Accomodations

It is very easy to get around Indianapolis, so any lodging within the city limits should be no more than 20 minutes away from the festivities! That being said, we recommend the following areas to start your search:

Downtown

There are many excellent hotels to choose from in downtown Indianapolis. Recommended for those wanting to be close to an array of restaurants, museums, and other attractions. These hotels are also closest to the ceremony and reception.

Things To Do

Indy comes alive during the month of May! With summer and the Indy 500 just around the corner, there are sure to be plenty of activities to fill a weekend (not to mention a certain celebration!) Downtown Indy is very walkable and close to dozens of attractions and things to see. Here are a few suggestions:

• Museums (Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg, Indianapolis Museum of Art, NCAA Hall of Champions)
• Racing (Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, IndyCar Grand Prix qualifications)
• Parks/Outdoor Activities (Central Canal, Holliday Park, White River State Park, Indianapolis Zoo)
• Restaurants/Bars (The Rathskeller, St. Elmo's Steakhouse, Slippery Noodle Inn)
